Abuse Prevention

The ministry of Abuse Prevention is a pioneering effort by the Christian Reformed Church to respond to emotional, physical, and sexual abuse among its members. Director Beth Swagman has the responsibility of leading the denomination to an awareness of the dynamics of abuse and the impact it has on victims, perpetrators, families, and the church community.

Seminars and conferences are offered on aspects of abuse including: child abuse, domestic violence, abuse of seniors, root causes, signs and symptoms, damage done and healing process.
