Volunteer Opportunities

For Individuals...

CRWRC's green-shirted Disaster Response Services volunteers act as God's hands and feet to people who have survived disasters.  Volunteers serve 2-3 weeks at a time as part of a larger team.  Duties might include clearing debris, repairing homes, assessing needs, cooking, painting, cleaning, data entry, and training.  For more information, contact Becky Purdom at bpurdom@crwrc.org or call 1-800-848-5818.

For Groups...

There are many needs and opportunities for volunteers wanting to work a week or more.  Groups are sent out year round to partner organizations in areas affected by disasters.  Youth Groups, families, church groups, college groups have all gone out and reported back their positive experiences.  The work varies but typically you could expect to repair homes, paint, shingle roofs or clean up debris.

Please contact Art Opperwall for more information about opportunities at 1-800-848-5818 or aopperwall@crwrc.org.

For Spring Break...
