You may have heard the old proverb, “Give a man a fish, and he’ll eat for a day. Teach a man to fish, and he’ll eat for a lifetime.” What if this applied to your gift giving as well? What if your gift not only told one person that you loved them and celebrated them on a special occasion, but it also created a better future for  someone in need? That’s the theory behind the items in this gift catalog.

CRWRC staff have carefully chosen a number of items from our programs around the world that will help you celebrate your loved ones’ birthdays, anniversaries, graduations, weddings, or Christmas and will also help someone in need improve their life in a real and lasting way.

What a great way to share your love and God’s love around the world!

How it works
When you order an item from this catalog, CRWRC allocates your donation to the partner organization providing the item you choose. For example, if you decide to give a blackboard and chalk, your $4.50 USD or $5.15 CAD will be forwarded to literacy programs in Malawi where CRWRC is working with local agencies to help adults learn to read. Your gift will be used to purchase blackboards and chalk for each class.

However, because each of these items is just one part of the larger picture of what CRWRC is doing to create stronger, happier communities around the world, if your particular item becomes “sold out” CRWRC will redirect your donation to a similar program in that region of the world. Moreover, because these items are part of a larger, Christian, community development outreach you can be assured that your gift will make a lasting change in someone’s life and will be a great testimony of Christ’s love to them.

What You Will Receive
For each donation made through the gift catalog, CRWRC will send you a receipt that you can use for tax purposes. CRWRC can also send you gift cards that you can personalize with the name of the friend or family
member who will be “receiving” the gift from you. The cards can be used for any occasion—Christmas,  graduations, birthdays, weddings, or anniversaries—and provide a bit of detail about how that gift is helping
another family in the world.
