Opening Statement
The local church is instituted by her Lord to reach
out with Christ’s love in Word and deed, gather God’s people
for worship, proclaim God’s Word, celebrate the sacraments, nurture
and disciple members and adherents in the true faith, and enjoy Christian
fellowship.
Vision Statement
We envision a Spirit-filled
growing body of Christ in which all people experience the reality of God,
are nurtured in a dynamic relationship with the Lord and his people and
are equipped and empowered to love, serve in and witness to God’s
Kingdom.
Therefore, we envision congregations characterized by:
• Intergenerational worship that actively engages everyone
• A Spirit awakened hunger to grow in, know and serve the Lord
• A Kingdom vision and mission focus
• Biblical rooted-ness nurtured in the context of a holistic world and
life view
• Equipped and equipping Christ like servant leaders
• Authentic Christian community which embraces, transforms and empowers
all through their Covenant commitment to one another
• Faith nurture that is relational, holistic and transformational
