1 - Friday (World Missions: Nigeria)
"B" has been living with AIDS for 12 years. As a follower of Jesus, he has a passion to show other AIDS sufferers that it is possible to live in hope with HIV/AIDS. He also has a passion to see his Fulani people come to Christ. Pray that God will use “B” to reach many Fulani who are suffering in silence without the hope of the gospel. |
2 - Saturday (Home Missions: Campus ministry)
Although college and university students across Canada and the United States are on summer break, many classes will resume later this month. Please ask God to guide Home Missions’ 23 campus ministers as they seek to reach students during the upcoming fall semester. |
3 - Sunday (World Relief: Myanmar)
Pray for the relief work in Myanmar. Since May 9 CRWRC has been providing initial emergency relief to Cyclone Nargis survivors through World Concern, a local partner. Pray for the recovery of the Burmese people and for the health and safety of our two staff members there. |
4 - Monday (Back to God Ministries: Benin and Congo)
Pray for French-ministry leader Rev. Paul Mpindi as he leads pastor-training events in Benin and Congo this month. More than 2,000 pastors and church leaders are expected to attend. May the follow-up training they receive help them disciple the thousands of listeners who are coming to Christ through our ministry. |
5 - Tuesday (Race Relations: New workers)
Many Indonesians live in the Los Angeles area. We used to have only one Indonesian minister there, but in the past two months two new Indonesian church developers have come to the area and are using their language and culture to bring the gospel as well. Thank the Lord for them, and pray for them. |

8 - Friday (World Relief: Malawi)

9 - Saturday (Back to God Ministries: China)

12 - Tuesday (Back to God Ministries: Japan)
Pray for the annual Radio Listeners Retreat this week in Gotemba, Japan. For many Japanese listeners who don’t live near a Christian community, this is their only opportunity for fellowship with other Christians. Pray also for unbelieving family members who attend, that they may be drawn into the family of Christ. |
13 - Wednesday (Abuse Prevention: Chicken soup and cake)
When a member of the church family is seriously ill or grieves a death, we know that bringing a meal or dessert, such as chicken soup, a casserole, or cake will help show our care. When a member of the church family discloses abuse, what should we do? What can we bring? Chicken soup and cake. Through a meal we convey our desire to nurture others when words fail us. Let’s pray for all who are hurt by abuse and create community with them by sharing time and a meal together. |

CRWRC and partner staff in Cambodia show Christian love mainly through their actions. Because Cambodia is predominantly Buddhist, these staff often hear questions such as “Who is Jesus? Why do Christians want to help us? Does belief in Jesus conflict with belief in Buddha?” Please pray for wisdom and courage as staff members respond to these questions. |
17 - Sunday (Back to God Ministries: Syria)
A few months ago Munib wrote an angry letter to the Arabic-broadcast staff, warning them of Allah’s punishment for “misleading” people with the gospel message. Praise God for a changed heart! Munib continued to listen to the broadcast and has now found the blessing of salvation through Christ. |

Ubandawaki Malingo, a village in Avadi-land, suffered from water shortages until a bore-hole was drilled by CRWRC and Water Wins. Now village members see the power of coming together with a common purpose; now they also gather to talk about other important community matters. Together they joyfully tell of the benefits of clean water—and the power of unity. |
30 - Saturday (Back to God Ministries: Brazil)
Each month an average of 70,000 people visit our Portuguese website to listen to programs, read a daily devotional message, and request prayer or Christian literature. Our staff are overwhelmed with the responses! Pray that God will provide the right Internet person to help with all the follow-up work. |
31 - Sunday (World Missions: Mexico)
In Cuernavaca, Mex., Abraham and Elaine Lee have had to respond to a lot of spiritual wounds and scars. Many people have suffered from divorce, child-raising challenges, social structural problems, and church-related issues. All come to the Lees looking for a sort of bandage for their wounds. Pray for the Lees as they minister to the hurting and show that the Word brings true healing into our lives. |
