Building God’s Kingdom

I will give thanks to you, Lord, with all my heart;I will tell of all your wonderful deeds. I will be glad and rejoice in you;I will sing the praises of your name, O Most High. Psalm 9:1-2

In a world experiencing tragedy and hatred, reading testimonies of faith can be a reminder of how God is at work, every moment of the day, throughout the globe, building his kingdom.

Here are some of those testimonies, which are made possible by Christian Reformed Church members giving ministry shares and offerings to help further the work of Back to God Ministries International.

Elysée, a deacon at the Assemblies of God church of Burkina Faso, Africa writes about training from Back to God  Ministries International: "I thank God for this training that teaches me to forgive and to love like God.”

Mohammed from Jharkhand, India, writes, “I gave my life to the Lord Jesus Christ who is now my Lord and Saviour. I am really thankful to you all for broadcasting such beautiful programs for the lost people of this world.”

A new believer, originally from China, wrote:“Ever since I came to the United States, I have been learning more and more about Christianity but just couldn’t have the faith to believe. Until one night, I read an article from (you) telling about the faith through Jesus Christ can turn my life upside down.

“I finally surrendered and prayed to him, and amazingly, I felt the power of love from within. I know this love is from him, a love that accepts the real me… I am very thankful because Jesus has helped me to have the faith to see him.”

Steven, from New Jersey, writes: “I have been saved for the past two years now and I cannot thank you enough for the contribution to the ministry of Jesus Christ. Along with the Holy Spirit your Today devotional has really been a ‘light to my path’.”
