ReFrame Ministries Hires New Advancement Director

ReFrame Ministries has appointed Joseph Curtis as its new advancement director.

Curtis brings with him more than 20 years of leadership and fundraising experience, a deep commitment to the Christian faith, and a passion for driving positive change within communities. He aims to leverage his extensive background in leadership and fundraising to support the mission of the CRCNA and ReFrame Ministries.

"I have long been impressed with the CRC and Calvin University’s impact here in Grand Rapids," Curtis said, "and I am so excited to become a leader with Reframe Ministries to help share Christianity across the globe.”

As he leads the advancement team and efforts, Curtis’s primary goal is to foster a strong connection with supporters within and outside of the CRCNA, ensuring that donors understand ReFrame's mission and feel globally connected, becoming lifelong partners in the ministry's work.

Curtis and his wife, Tanisha, have four children.

“We’re grateful and excited to have Joseph joining the ReFrame team," said Kurt Selles, executive director of ReFrame Ministries. "His dedication to the Christian faith, along with his extensive experience in fundraising and community engagement, will contribute significantly to our mission."

For 21 years, Curtis contributed his talents to the Boy Scouts of America in Phoenix, Ariz., where he served as chief operating officer, director of development, and chief diversity officer. Most recently he worked for The Salvation Army in Grand Rapids, Mich., where he led all aspects of their fundraising campaigns and board recruitment.

Curtis’s volunteer work includes organizing youth career fairs for children in foster care. He also volunteers regularly at Davidic Church in Grand Rapids and with his children’s sporting and scholastic activities.
