Serving the College across the Street

Right across the street from CrossPoint CRC in Brampton, Ont., is Sheridan College—home to over 15,000 students from around the world. CrossPoint saw an opportunity to connect. What started as a simple invitation to the church for food has transformed into meaningful connections with students, fostering mentorships, faith development, and intergenerational relationships.

Through prayer, persistence, and trying out different ideas, CrossPoint CRC adapted its outreach, moving from large gatherings to smaller, more intentional community-building efforts. Today, young adults, teens, and even seniors come together in a space where questions are welcomed, faith is nurtured, and meaningful connections are made.
