When Carolyn and Frank Van Boom decided to volunteer, they didn’t realize that a short-term trip would lead them into a long-term partnership in mission.
The annual general assembly of the Christian Reformed Church will gather in Ontario in June. Important agenda items include the ecumenical relationship with the Reformed Church in America, a task force report on virtual churches, and Calvin University’s commitment to confessional subscription.
The email seemed like great news. A person who had been blessed by a worship service while staying in the city months ago had decided to encourage the church with a large donation.
